In the last twenty years Mountjoy has successfully delivered hundreds of refurbishment, renovation, fit-out and conversion projects for our clients. We have carried out works to schools, universities, care homes, community centres, fire stations, hospitals, offices and industrial buildings. We understand the challenges of delivering the project whilst keeping your building users happy and your organisations “open for business”.
We have a dedicated Special Projects team who are set-up specifically to deliver refurbishment and major repair projects for our customers. They are all experienced construction and building professionals with a track record of delivering a quality finish, a safe working environments and meeting demanding client requirements. Supported by a carefully selected supply chain we deliver several million pounds worth of refurbishment projects every year.

REFURBISHMENT & FIT-OUT PROJECTS
We have worked with a variety of public and private clients to carry out internal refurbishment and fit-out projects to hospitals and doctors’ surgeries, schools and universities, office spaces and public buildings, care homes and community centres. We programme the works to suit the timetables of our clients, working at hours that are the most convenient to the occupiers and neighbours.
Renovation works include:

PLANNED MAINTENANCE PROGRAMMES
Taking care of the exterior of commercial and residential properties is essential to extend the lifespan of the building and the comfort of the occupants. We are well experienced in the delivery of major external repairs to individual commercial buildings through to whole residential blocks. and whole lifecycle replacement of roofing on pitched and flat properties, recladding and repointing, and repairing balconies and walkways. We use safe systems of working at height, supervised by our in-house Health and Safety team, and we regularly liaise with building occupants about any possible access issues.
External planned maintenance and upgrade works include:

As part of their cyclical maintenance, our clients regularly plan programmes of window and door replacements for which we are always happy to quote for and carry out. We have an approved and experienced supply chain who can offer value for money and quick turnaround times with specialist materials. Our skilled fitters are trained to work safely at height and complete works with a high quality finish.
We are familiar with contracts to upgrade kitchens and bathrooms in housing properties to Decent Homes Standards. Our Contract Managers are experienced in programming whole street renovations, working with residents to make convenient appointments and suppliers to meet fitting schedules.
Our tradesmen are multi-skilled which enables quicker turnaround times in the replacement of kitchens and bathrooms. We know that timing is essential to residents who need running water at the end of each working day and a place to cook. We regularly provide project updates to our Clients so that we can gain feedback on our performance.
