Mountjoy has been appointed by Portsmouth City Council to provide a reactive repairs and building maintenance services to over six hundred assets which form part of the Council’s corporate estate. The buildings are located across the City and range from civic offices and community buildings through to schools and care homes.
This new service will be incorporated into Mountjoy’s existing housing maintenance contract with Portsmouth City Council and consequently will run until 2022.
Simon Ingram, Managing Director of Mountjoy said “This started as an interim arrangement last autumn when we stepped in at short notice to help out the City Council after their existing supplier went in to administration. So we are delighted to now be providing this service for coming five years and we are committed to providing a responsive and high quality maintenance service for the Council’s building users”.
On the award, Steve Groves, Asset Manager at Portsmouth City Council said “Portsmouth City Council is pleased to be extending its current housing repairs contract with Mountjoy Ltd to include the maintenance of its corporate assets and look forward to continuing to work with them to develop the service provided”.
