A number of Mountjoy's Senior Managers and Directors recently answered the call for help from a sheltered accommodation block in Ealing.
Walnut Court was in need of extra storage room within one of their communal rooms and also in their shed for storage of plant pots and gardening equipment,.
Contract Managers, Iain Ward, Paul Deluchi and Stephen Booth went out on their tools along with Operations Manager Chris Attwell and Maintenance Director, Tanya Hays. The team measured and cut shelves to fit the space before installing them.
On completion of the repair, one of the staff at the housing scheme complimented the "wonderful group of people... they did a wonderful job with the store shelves and the shed. We are indebted to you. Thank you for everything".
Mountjoy has been undertaking void refurbishments and associated works to Ealing's housing stock since 2013 and as a commitment to working sustainably introduced a free recycling centre in the borough in 2014.
