Mountjoy has secured a two-year extension to its Void Property Repairs and Refurbishment Works contract with Fareham Borough Council. The service covers void property repairs, replacement kitchens and bathrooms, disabled adaptations and occasional reactive works to the Council’s 2,500 homes and has been delivered by Mountjoy since October 2019.
The extension now takes the contract through to Spring 2024, up until which it will continue to be managed by our Hampshire Hub team based at our Portsmouth Head Office.
As part of the decision notice, Shaun Barnett, Planned Maintenance Manager for Fareham Borough Council stated “I am proud to say that we have worked collaboratively through some extremely difficult times, maintaining a service for our new and existing tenant customers. We look forward to working with Mountjoy over the next 2 years and wish to thank all the Mountjoy managers, background staff and operatives who have worked hard to deliver this contract successfully.”
Tanya Roxborough, Maintenance Director at Mountjoy commented, “We are delighted to continue our partnership with Fareham Borough Council to deliver high-quality property refurbishments and repairs for both their new and existing tenant base. This extension is testament to the continued hard work of our team in ensuring our ethos of Integrity, built-in is practiced across all aspects of the contract.”
