Mountjoy awarded contract for school library refurbishment

Mountjoy has been awarded a £210k contract with Portsmouth City Council to carry out internal refurbishment works to the library at Cliffdale Primary Academy.

Cliffdale Primary was constructed in the early 1960s and is located in the Northern part of Portsea Island. The school caters for children that may have moderate to severe learning difficulties, autism, social communication difficulties or speech and language delay disorder.

The refurbishment will include the demolition of internal walls, new internal stud partitions, suspended ceilings, and internal floor and wall finishes amongst other tasks.  

The works commenced in May 2022 and are scheduled to be completed in mid-August 2022.
