Mountjoy is delighted to have won a Considerate Constructors Scheme 2017 National Site Award for their project at Sholing Junior School.
The CCS is an independent non-profit-making organisation founded in 1997 by the construction industry to improve its image. Since 1999, the CCS has been rewarding the UK’s most considerate construction sites for the contributions they make towards improving the image of construction. The awards judges look at the measures a site or project has put in place to be more considerate towards local neighbourhoods and the public, workforce and the environment.
The Award Ceremony took place on 29th March at the Plaisterers' Hall in London.
Mountjoy attributed their award success to their dedication to community engagement, with early consultation and interaction with the school pupils. The project also benefitted from Mountjoy's well intentioned Site Manager, Steve Motherwell who ensured that the site had a good appearance, with clear and informative site signage.
