Since 2023, Mountjoy have been a core contractor on Lot 1 and 2 of Pagabo’s national Framework for Medium Works.
The framework focuses on providing procurement for medium-sized construction projects across the UK, and is managed by Pagabo on behalf of the Education Alliance Multi-Academy Trust, both parties continuing their role from the initial instalment of the framework, which launched in 2019. During this initial instalment, Mountjoy delivered the £550k refurbishment of St Peter’s Hall, which was procured through the framework.
There are four main lots within the framework, each representing construction projects with a value band between £50k-£10m. As a contractor on Lot 1 and 2 of the framework, Mountjoy will have the opportunity to tender for projects valued between £50k-£500k (Lot 1) and £500k-£1m (Lot 2), in Surrey, East and West Sussex, Hampshire, and the Isle of Wight.
Works will be delivered across a range of sectors, as the framework agreement is open for the use of all UK Public Sector Bodies. Sectors covered at a high level on this framework include:
- Education
- NHS and Health Service Providers
- Police Authorities
- Public Utilities
- Fire and Rescue Services
- Ambulance Services
- Highways and Infrastructure
- Local authorities
- Central Government and Associated agencies
- Museum and Leisure
- Housing Associations
- Charities
- Prisons
The framework term will last for an initial period of three years, finishing in 2026, with the option for contractors to extend a further 1 year, subject to performance.
Across the full four-year duration, it is estimated that a total of £1 billion worth of projects will be delivered through the framework, with Lot 1 and 2 contributing £240m to the total value.
